a tale of two fish:: a story of pictures

5:15 AM

i mentioned that we went to schlitterbahn this past weekend and had a blast! it was hot and crowded, but my children - turned fish - were not bothered by a thing. they were too busy enjoying themselves and developing their gills. . .

my sentiments on the heat of summer exactly.

i don't know if he was preparing to drown her, or keeping her from doing so,
but regardless. . . cute sibling love is the photo i took.

in case you were at all curious of what it looked like to swim in a porta potty. . .
makes me gag a bit every time i look at it. moving on.

 he became a pro-slider.

she, unfortunately, didn't win any awards for form.

when did my baby boy grow up?

 ugh, i love them.

this was her 2 minute boyfriend. notice him trying to undo her straps. kids these days.

this was a scream. which lasted about 30 seconds straight. people stared.

i don't have enough frames for the sibling cuteness.

 lunch, anyone?

this will for sure be saved to ward off potential dates in her future. =))

 the kids favordist aunt heather.

 flying fish.

oh, they don't look anything alike.

again, it was so much fun to watch the kiddos enjoy themselves as much as they did. even if every 5 minutes i had a mild (silent) panic attack that my children would be carried off by the millions of vultures lurking around. or drown right under my nose. or something horrific like that. they make medication for that don't they? maybe i should check on that.

we'll definitely have to go back when irie is a little older, so she can enjoy it as much as her brother did. well, in the way that her brother did. the slides and rides are much better than the kiddy pool. but she doesn't know that yet, so let's not tell her. . .

oh, and just by the way. . . i've decided that every parent needs an underwater digital camera. none of these memories would have been possible without one! after searching around i found the fujifilm finepix xp20. i got it at target for around $200 (right now they are offering the camera, bag, memory card, and a tripod for $239 + free shipping!!), spent the extra dough on the 2year warranty, and bought a 4 gig memory card. can't wait to use it on our honeymoon when we go snorkeling!

what have you done with the kiddos this summer?
